  Still recovering from storm but the place is looking good. Need to secure gate to pool area on. Witnessed people drive in park in visitor parking unload vehicle walk in to the beach. Elevator working but needs to be more dependable it got stuck 3 times and the Fire Dept was there once.

  Almost perfect. Owner thought of everything to make this condo a great vacation. Only ONE suggestion. Get rid of the bed sheets. They are old, hard and the 14 inch mattress is bigger than the sheet sides. Pulled off the corners nightly. Obviously it was no big deal because we have signed up for 10 nights next year. The view is fabulous and location perfect. Even with construction noise from hurricane repairs we loved it.

  We had a great time location is outstanding. The only problem is the elevator is still not working for over a year ( this time last year it was out) we heard a lot of guest who are older and have been coming there for years saying if the elevator is not fixed they won't be coming back. Hopefully the property management company will get it fix. Other wise we are coming back next year so far in the same condo #403. I hope all repairs are made. we love the Chateaux.

  Gulf view from everyone's balcony is the best part! The pool was warm and clean. The elevator was slow but only having one is tough. The new laundry system is excellent, but you need a smart phone to use it. Carts provided for luggage & household items!

  I recently spent a week in Unit 403, a condo in the vacation rental building called The Chateaux, located on Gulf Blvd. in Indian Shores, Florida. I had a thoroughly enjoyable experience there from start to finish. The unit rental is managed by Florida Lifestyles Vacation Rentals Inc. Their staff are very professional, and it was very easy to secure the rental from Canada. Upon arrival, it was also easy to pick up my unit's keys, and I was provided with a neat package with paperwork pertaining to the rental. The Chateaux building is very clean and well maintained. It is located on a beautiful section of ocean beachfront, and has a very nice heated swimming pool as well. My unit was spotlessly clean on my arrival. I am pretty particular, and it certainly met with my approval. The unit had a very nice layout, was well appointed, and felt very comfortable from the moment I arrived. The view of the beach and ocean off of the balcony was amazing. There are many nice restaurants and golf courses nearby, and it is close enough to Clearwater if you want access to shopping and more restaurants, without the high density hustle and bustle of that area. I played golf at Mainlands in Pinellas Park, about 25 minutes away, and quite liked it. It's a very nice course for an average golfer. One of the restaurants that I particularly enjoyed was The Island Way Grill in Clearwater. A very nice location, with a great outdoor patio overlooking the inland waterway, good food and service, and reasonable prices. Overall, I had a great stay, and have already booked for 2 weeks at The Chateaux next year!

  Excellent except for the interrogation my wife received from a man named "Bob" who eventually claimed he was the president of the owner's association board. This occurred out of my presence and was not appreciated. On check-in they gave us the wrong keys having me to make 2 trips to the rental office. Otherwise we love the location. Swam with a Manatee, jet-skiing with a sea turtle, Sand dollars, fireworks, sunsets, and many other experiences were enjoyed by all including the restaurants.

  Chateaux was a fantastic stay. Loved having my balcony so close to the beach I could easily hear the waves. Fantasic sunset view. Very clean and comforatable room. My only complaints would be the elevator was down for two says and being on the fouth floor we had a lot of stairs to go up and down with all our beach items. And instead of apologizing the property management put up a nasty sign in the elevator about not getting sand and water in the elevator which we thought was unprofessional. Also we would have liked for a washer and dryer to have been available but as far as we could tell the property did not have any.
